" I recently put on an all-ages event & I was guided through the "Underwriting" program which I found to be a great weight lifter as the money side of puttin on a concert is definitely the most stressful. After selling 100 pre-sale tickets I had to move into the big room as the capacity of the cafe was only 120 - by doing so I created a few more expenses including lights (strobe) and a more expensive venue. Having this back-up from the Youth Council gave me the confidence to be able to make the changes and upgrade the event as a whole, which turned out to be the best option as we ended up having at least 250 people rocking out and the night was a total success.
