Meet the team at Health Action

Alison
Is the Health Action Trust Manager. Alison's background is in management; previous to Health Action, the National Manager for the YWCA based in Wellington. Along with many other interests, Alison is a keen collector of 'antiques' from around the country.

Mary
Support Manager for The Whitehouse Inc
(a consumer run Community Center). Mary enjoys horse riding (competitively and socially), and is also a National Netball referee. A mother of two grown children and enjoys living in Nelson "because it's home".

Weenie (aka: Edwina)

Weenie is the
Health Action Trust Administrator. Along with love of family, Weenie enjoys dancing, music and generally speaking; living life to the fullest.
The greatest part about living in Nelson is the beaches (especially Kaiteriteri), as well as an awesome place to bring up my son Shavez. Nelson is the closest to heaven you can get before your end of days lol...

Jos
Is the Work Force Development Coordinator. Jos Say's - Someone told me recently she had heard about me: "You are a person who doesn't do as she is told." I am quite proud of that role description. I hide in the Motueka River Valley with my family, dogs and lots of birds for company when I am not at work.

Is a .6 CAYAD Project Coordinator for Health Action.

Darney
I
s a .4 CAYAD Project Coordinator. His interests are family, working with youth, dancing, music and martial arts. Darney's most favourite place to be is Kaiteriteri in the summer time.

Varie
Is our Mental Health Promoter. Varie lives over the hill in Tapawera with her husband, two boys and loopy dog Sirius. She is passionate about mental health promotion because she feels it is time for the stigma and discrimination about mental illness to stop, and for everyone to have the right and the possibility of being mentally well.
