Youth Boards Project - how it started

In 2002

 

Alex & Steph, two young switched on people learnt about the background of the
Youth Boards project by doing interviews, by reading the Youth Board story.

They bought  notice-boards and got logos made,
then visited each school to explain the Youth Boards concept, 
& give out the  folios.  Then they painted the boards with each group.

The  folios had:

·       Background info - the Story of the Youth Boards

·       Ideas for the Youth Boards

·       A contact list of organisations who can provide info for displays

·       Suggested roles for staff and youth

·       Youth Board evaluation results
