lulu says... safer partying rules!
Print friendly version
Safer Partying Rules! is a pamphlet for young people aged around 14-18 years about staying safe when you go partying.
The pamphlet was the idea of a group of students from Nelson College for Girls called the HAGs (Health Action Group). These students felt that there wasn't enough good information out there for young people who were making choices about using alcohol and other drugs, and wanted to put something together themselves. With a bit of support, they wrote, designed and tested the pamphlet themselves putting a lot of effort into gearing the look and text for their target audience - their friends.
Below are the first couple of pages, or you can see the whole pamphlet. The pamphlet includes positive tips and advice about being prepared, what to take with you, looking after friends, and avoiding dangerous situations.

(Not sure how the colours look on your screen, but the pamphlet is actually bright orange!)
